The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has already opened the term of enrollment of the program of courses offered by the Popular University (UP) for the second quarter.
Those interested can choose between 90 courses, 15 of them free.
These will be developed between February 27 to the last days of May, with the number of places offered being 1,442, an increase of 118 places compared to the previous quarter.

The Popular University has secured the funding of the Institute for Women for Equal Opportunities (IMIO) for the development of a course called "Motivation and accompaniment of adult women (over 45 years old) for their social and work integration."
This initiative is carried out in a coordinated manner with the Spanish Federation of Popular Universities, through the co-financing of the European Social Fund in the scope of the Operational Program for Social Inclusion and Social Economy 2014/2020.
