The Spokesman of the PSOE in Lorca is detached from the decision of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, putting the interests of Lorca over the decisions of his party in Madrid.
He also announced that he would demand from his party an immediate rectification of the position adopted by the Socialist Group in the Committee on Promotion of the Congress of Deputies.
The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, and General Secretary of the Lorca socialists, Diego José Mateos has shown his rejection of the decision taken by the Committee of Promotion of the Congress of Deputies not to pursue a Proposition No of Law that compromised the Impulse of the whole Chamber to the development of the AVE works for its arrival to Lorca and Almeria.
Although this proposal was no more than a "mere declaration of intentions, emptied of content", Mateos says he does not share his party's rejection of it and announces that the Parliamentary Group has already committed to amend this error, for what they propose A new Proposition No of Law "with which to go beyond the talk of the PP and demand the Rajoy Government, this time, concrete deadlines and measures to ensure the arrival of the AVE and the Mediterranean Corridor to Lorca.
In this way, the leader of the socialists Lorca has been detached from this vote and has ratified his personal commitment "always demanding" for the arrival of the AVE to the city of Lorca, in his opinion "necessary to increase the competitiveness of our municipality, For the many advantages that this railway connection would bring to our city ".
In this sense, Mateos says that "we are socialists and belong to the PSOE, but above all we are Lorca."
Therefore, he adds that "unlike what makes the PP government team, always complacent with everything that decides his party, we will not hurt clothes when, as today, we reject the decisions of our party that Our judgment does not benefit Lorca, despite whoever weighs. "
