Kilometer-eco Program
It consists of a bus available for short journeys by our municipality that may be requested for departures from the center when going to carry out our school activities within the municipality of Lorca.
It will have a unique cost for any center of Lorca and its districts of 55 euros, being thus the rest subsidized by the Department of Youth.
Formative Talks Program
Social Networking Program: "Connect but do not get enmeshed".
It is an information and training campaign on the good use of social networks that is directed to more than 1,300 young people who study secondary.
It aims to generate a change of attitude in the population and, especially, the young people of Lorca to the use and abuse of social networks.
It has been proposed as an educational tool that seeks to reach and motivate a high audience, seeking to accelerate a behavior change that improves the relationship established with technology for communication and social relationship.
Like other tools and technologies, we must be consistent in that our young people will not stop using social networks, but we can help them to have a more appropriate and safe use.
It should be noted that, apart from the young people, both groups and groups, both informal and formal, this initiative is having a great demand on the part of teachers and parents, since information actions are also being made to teachers, leisure monitors , Sports, cultural and neighborhood, as well as through the AMPAs of the educational centers.
In each case there have been workshops and workshops in which aspects have been addressed so that young people know and reflect on the risks that the use of the Internet can cause them such as: the possible violation of data and personal information;

28th Edition of the Intercentros Theater Contest.
It is an activity already consolidated in the school and cultural calendar of the municipality, which seeks to enhance the taste for theater and culture in general among young people, many of whom are the first time to climb to a Stage to participate in a theater.
The objective is to enhance creative and representative skills among students, while providing them with an alternative leisure tool outside school hours.
The participating centers are: IES Ramón Arcas Meca, IES Ros Giner, IES Ibáñez Martín, IESO Sierra de Almenara, IES Bartolomé Pérez Casas and Centro Concertado Ciudad del Sol.
Play Events Program
This program is made up of activities that are taught at Lorca's primary and secondary education centers, which are subsidized by the Youth Department, costing only 1 euro to the participating student.
The campaign has the objective of stimulating activities of a playful and cultural aspect in the population to which it is directed.
As in previous initiatives is having a very high demand for teachers, with more than 3,400 students who are participating in it and who are offered a different way to develop and learn various subjects of play- cultural.
The program is structured around nine activities:

Mobile planetarium.

It is a very valuable tool to teach and know in a three-dimensional way some aspects of our sky, such as the understanding of the seasons, the magnitudes of the Solar System, which are the constellations and stars of our Galaxy, among others.
In this way the mobile Planetarium becomes a practical thing that will serve to introduce students to the knowledge of astronomy.
The magic of the pomps.
It is a workshop for students of children and first cycle of primary in which they can play and learn with the pomps and check that by means of a pomp we can draw the colors of the rainbow, observe the deviation of light, train in the control of movements And increase manual dexterity, in addition to perceiving various light effects produced by a pomp.
With this workshop you want to introduce children to the world of pomp and soap making them participate directly in an activity so peculiar and usual in childhood that pretends nothing more than to amuse.
We will also talk about hygiene in the classroom as a curricular theme.

The puppet theater reaches the class and does it in a very special way, with the help of some nice little animals that will invite us to spend a fun time, while they will tell us classic stories in a surprising and original way.
Visiting Lorca and its spaces.
The activity is centered in a guided visit to different municipal spaces of the city, in particular by the historical center.
It begins with the Plaza de España, the Town Hall and its plenary hall, to finish watching the Hall of Cabildos and offices.
After that, you walk along the Corredera until you reach the Guerra Theater and contemplate its patio of armchairs and the paintings of the ceilings as well as know the liceo lorquino.
Then to the Children's Library to know its ins and outs, and to finish the visit will be the permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum and the Convent of La Merced.

Nature route.
The activity is a guided tour of the natural areas of Lorca such as the Calnegre Bridge and Bridges.

It is aimed at children and first elementary school students, who will have the opportunity to enjoy a new version of stories narrated with the mastery of Inma.

Workshop and theatrical animation for children and primary.
We start from the perspective of Víctor Junior VJ, a child explorer, who has traveled all over the planet performing a thousand and one missions and experiments.

We will continue with a simple workshop of a puppet of paper and cardboard on an extinct animal the gambusino, as element of the fauna that is in danger of extinction.
