The Brotherhood of Labradors, Paso Azul, unanimously approved the participation of the brotherhood in Holy Week of 2017, during the celebration of its Ordinary General Meeting of Ash Wednesday, in which the President of the brotherhood, José María Miñarro, Reported on the timing of the Brotherhood to the stewards.
The appointment of D. Serafín Piñeiro Martínez as Honorary Butler of the Paso Azul was also approved.
Due to his recent death, the distinction will be collected by his relatives at the Eucharist next Friday in Dolores.
It should be noted that Piñeiro has been part of several Boards of Directors throughout the years, being especially linked to the world of the horse.
The future Honorary Butler put on stage for years the chariots, was a charioteer like Domitian, Moses or Tiberius, and in recent times was in charge of accompanying the Cavalry Squadron of the Civil Guard during the Friday procession of Dolores.
His death last December was an irreparable loss to the Blue Pass.

Saturday 18 March in the Church of St. Francis at 20:30: Solemn Eucharist in honor of the Mystery of the Coronation of Thorns of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Christ of the Good Death.
Sunday, March 26: Official announcement of the participation of the Brotherhood of Labradors, Paso Azul, in the Holy Week of 2017. At 20:00 hours: Solemn Eucharist officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Arrival to Lorca de la Stma.

From Thursday 30 March to Wednesday April 5: Solemn Septenary in honor of Maria Santísima de los Dolores.
On Saturday 1 will take place during this act the imposition of Butler medals in front of the Holy Image of the Head of the Brotherhood.
March 31 at 9:30 pm, after the Septena: Preach of the Holy Week 2017 by Pedro Antonio Sánchez, President of the Autonomous Community.
It will take place in the former Collegiate Church of Saint Patrick.
Thursday, April 6 at 12 o'clock: Serenade to the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows.
Friday of Dolores, April 7 at 12 noon in the church of San Francisco: Solemn Eucharist in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows.
At 19:45 hours: Solemn Procession in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows for the usual tour.
Saturday April 8 at 8:30 pm in the church of San Francisco: traditional Salve the Virgin of Sorrows.
