The deadline for eligibility for aid will remain open until 28 March.
This is the Royal Decree Law of urgent measures to mitigate the damages caused by the latest storms, published on January 29 in the Official State Gazette.
The Councilor for Agriculture in the City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, has encouraged Lorca farmers to benefit from the aid established by the Government of Spain to mitigate the damages of the last storms that affected our region, especially during the days that Closed the months of December and January.

Justifications proving ownership are made more flexible, with a receipt for the payment of the Real Property Tax (IBI) or other of a similar nature.
The document approved by the Council of Ministers also provides for aid to holders of agricultural and livestock farms.
In particular, those who have insurance policy, will be entitled to compensation even in the elements affected to the farm that have suffered damage even if they are not insurable (including roads).
The Councilor for Agriculture has detailed that among the aid established by the Government of Spain in the aforementioned RD, mention should be made of the following:
· Aid for death or permanent disability: € 18,000.
· Aid for destruction or damage to appliances: up to € 2,580.
Aid to industrial, commercial, maritime fishing, agricultural or service establishments: up to € 8,000.
· Aid to natural or legal persons: total amount of expenditure
As far as the aid for damages in the houses are those that are detailed below:
· For total destruction: the cost of damages with a maximum of € 15,120.
· For damages to the structure: 50% of damages with a maximum of 10,320 €.
· For other damages: 50% of damages, with a maximum of 5,160 €.
· For damages to common elements of a community of owners: 50% of damages, with a maximum of 8,000 €.
· For destruction or damage to basic necessities: € 2,580.
The Ministry will also finance the damage to municipal infrastructures and the road network of the provincial councils, the public water domain and the coast, the National Road Network, as well as other public infrastructures and In agricultural and livestock farms.
It should be noted that the so-called Contingency Fund will be used to finance the various aids of the ministries involved in the reparation of damages, apart from those of the Ministry of the Interior
