The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez, together with representatives of the Forum of Physical Education and Sports of Lorca, Juan Ortuño and José Segura, presented this morning the I edition of the Contest of Creative Arts, Physical Activity and Sport, CREASPORT, which aims to offer a channel of communication between the worlds of art and physical activity, so close because of its plastic and expressive character.
Juan Francisco Martínez explained that "physical activity and sport has always been a source of inspiration for cinema, literature and photography. Therefore, from the Department of Sports and the Forum of Physical Education and Sports of Lorca we want CREASPORT Is a window to the artistic expression collecting the beauty of the sport activities, its histories, its moments of glory or failure and its educational wealth. The works participating in the contest, in the form of short film, short story or digital photography , Should focus their focus on those values, highlighting the capacity for physical penetration in society.
The Competition for Creative Arts, Physical Activity and Sport consists of three modalities: short film, short story and digital photography, so there will be two categories one school aimed at students under 18 years old who are enrolled in educational centers throughout the municipality, And a free one in which any citizen who is over 18 years old may participate.
The works can be submitted until June 30.
The jury's decision, which will be formed by professionals from the world of literature, image, photography and physical-sport activity, will be known in September of October, coinciding with the awards ceremony in the XXXVIII edition of The Sports Games of Guadalentín.
As for the I CREASPORT Storytelling Contest, the narratives must be written in prose and in Spanish, be original and unpublished and have not been previously awarded in any other contest.
Likewise, each author may attend the same with a single story.
Creativity, originality, literary quality and content of the narrative adjusted to the objective of the contest will be valued.
As for the prizes, in school mode the winner will receive 150 euros and a diploma, in free category the prize will be 1,000 euros and a diploma.
In the First CREASPORT Short Film Contest, two videos will be admitted per participant, they must be original and may be of free fiction as long as they are adjusted to the theme of the contest, as well as the works done in any year after 2010. The recordings must have been made in digital video, being obligatory to present the same in format .mov.
The creativity, the originality, the quality and the content of the short films adjusted to the objective of the contest will be evaluated.
The prizes in this modality will be the following: school prize 150 euros and diploma accrediting;
Free prize 1.000 euros and diploma accrediting;
DXT award Lorca 200 euros and diploma accrediting (this award is restricted to Lorca filmmakers or residents in Lorca who have recorded the same 60% in Lorca);
Special prize of the public 200 euros and diploma accrediting (the attendees of the projections will choose this prize between all the works selected to contest);
The best original score, best picture, best original soundtrack, best male performance and best female performance, respectively, will receive a diploma.
Finally, in the 1st CREASPORT Photography Contest, the images submitted to the contest must be original and unpublished and not previously awarded in any other competition.
The photographs will be presented in jpeg or tiff format and can be in color or black and white.
