Navarro assures that the debt that the Regional Government maintains with the Solidary Table of Lorca already reaches the 630,088 euros.

In addition, because the CARM has not paid a euro in the last three months, the City of Lorca has had to re-inject € 50,000 in the Solidarity Table, to fill the lack of commitment of the Regional Government with those affected by the 2011 earthquakes that still need help.

The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro has denounced that the government team of the Popular Party continue to cover the "lack of commitment" of the regional government to those affected by the earthquakes of Lorca.

At the last meeting of the Solidarity Table, it became clear that, once again, the City has had to pay 50,000 euros to compensate that CARM has not entered "not a single cent" during the last three months.

Navarro recalls that this is not the first time that the City of Lorca is forced to disburse money from the municipal coffers to replace the aid that the Regional Government "still owes to the Solidarity Table."

He says that on different occasions, the City of Lorca has already entered a total of 400,000 euros "to cover and cover" the Autonomous Community which, he insists, "as of today continues to owe to the Solidarity Table the amount of 630,088 euros."

Of the last meeting of the Solidarity Table, held on Monday, Navarro was able to show that the Autonomous Community "has not paid a single euro in these three months for rents."

Regarding the activity during the last 8 months, Navarro assures that the Autonomous Community has entered 5% of the total amount owed to the Solidarity Table (€ 35,841.16).

Therefore, denounces the Socialist Edil that while the Autonomous Community, in the last 8 months has paid "only 5% of what owes to the Solidarity Table, the City of Lorca has had to put the amount equivalent to 65%, to Protect and cover up their leaders in Murcia. "

In view of this "lack of commitment and this outrage" of the CARM towards those affected by the earthquakes of Lorca, Navarro asked in the heart of this meeting "what were the demands of the PP government team to watch over the Interests of those affected and, ultimately, to require CARM to meet its payment obligations. "

According to the Socialist Edil, the government team responded "to have sent an email a few days ago," whose content "is unknown."

Faced with this response, Navarro regrets that the demanding task of the government team in claiming the pending aid "is limited to send an email and a letter, a couple of days before reporting at the meeting of the Solidarity Table" .

The councilor of the PSOE has reported during this meeting, was manifested by different members of the Bureau of Solidarity its intention to abandon it, since "they do not see that their membership serves no purpose."

Navarro showed the intention of the PSOE to continue belonging to this body of control and accountability.
