The Socialist Group has proposed the regulation of the 80 places that approximately will be public after the partial closure of the parking of the Shopping Center of San Diego, scheduled for after Easter.
They are intended to be properly signposted and made available to residents, users and professionals of nearby public services.
The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Lorca, David Romera has asked the Government team of the Popular Party to work on the search for alternatives and solutions, given the problems of parking that will arise in San Diego as a result of the next closure Partial of the parking, until now of public use, of the San Diego Shopping Center, planned for after Easter.
Romera has assured that the partial closure of the parking lot of the San Diego Shopping Center will "aggravate parking problems in the area, since from Easter, much of the current parking, free public use, will be closed With barriers and payment as a private parking either.
In this sense, remember that this is an area of special public affluence, as important public services are located (San Diego health center, Prince of Asturias Institute, San Diego asylum and parish, Felipe VI sports complex ) That "attract large numbers of workers and users" who, he insists, "need a parking area because they find it too difficult to park their vehicles."
Because of all this, and in view of this pressing problem, David Romera insists that the City of Lorca "must take into account this new reality that can affect dozens of users and workers," so the PSOE pose possible alternative solutions, As is the adequacy of public places in the parking lot of the San Diego Shopping Center, around 80, for those who consider it necessary to give preference to residents, users and professionals of nearby public centers "under conditions Optimal use, properly marked ".
Likewise, they request that the City of Lorca also seek and study the authorization of parking places in the area, in addition to those mentioned in the premises of the Mall, to solve this historical problem of lack of parking spaces in the environment San Diego.
