The Councilor for Culture in the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, together with the Director of Cineclub Paraíso, Jesús Martínez, have informed that next Friday March 24 will be exhibited in our city the sixth edition of which has already become, in its own right , In the cinematographic contest of reference for all those who want to see and know the cinema that is made from Lorca.
As every year, for six years, "A short distance" will gather in a single pass, starting at 9:00 pm at the Teatro Guerra, all the production in the field of the short film made by Lorca filmmakers in the last twelve months.
Llamas Gómez has highlighted that as each year since its inception, the contest will again grow in number of participation with the addition of new authors who expect to see his work projected in his hometown along with that of the other directors present and already regular in editions Above.
Thus, the program planned for this year 2017 includes up to 11 short films, of the most diverse nature and duration, which make it the largest participation, until now.
The Edil de Cultura has anticipated that 4 of these shorts are signed by authors who are participating for the first time in A short distance.
