He demands that the procedures for the hiring of section 1 be speeded up and asks Jódar to start working as soon as possible to alleviate the effects of these delays, after this project "vital for Lorca" has been paralyzed for more than 15 months

The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has celebrated the decision of the Central Administrative Tribunal of Contract Resources by which has lifted the suspension that has held paralyzed for more than 15 months the procedure for contracting stretch 1 of the Central Round Evacuation of Lorca.

Mateos celebrates the end of more than a year of "blocking" a project, the Central Round "vital for the development of the municipality."

For this reason, the Socialist Spokesman demands that the procedures for the hiring of section 1 be speeded up and that the Administration should start working "as soon as possible" to mitigate the negative effects of all these months of delay.

Diego José Mateos recalled the concern that his group have repeatedly shown by the paralysis of this project due to alleged irregularities that "finally begin to clarify."

In this regard, he insists that they will be vigilant in ensuring the maximum guarantees of transparency in the recruitment processes "so as not to repeat these murky issues in the procedure of section 2 of the Round."

Similarly, from the Socialist Group they hope that the procedure for awarding the works of section 2 will not serve "to compensate anyone" but rather will be awarded to the best offer and, this time, avoid any recourse incurred in new Delays.

As they have warned for months, they hope that the award of section 2 "will not serve to cover the irregularities that, at last, are beginning to resolve around the allotment of tranche 1."

Finally, Mateos has taken advantage to warn the government team of the PP in the City of Lorca, and specifically his Edil responsible for Works, who, with a view to the execution of these next works, can begin to fulfill the commitment acquired in the past Monday in Plenary, to start supervising through municipal technicians the execution of works signed with the Autonomous Community like this one, to avoid the poor execution of the same.
