In the week in which the PP rejected in plenary proposals of the PSOE to guarantee transparency and equality in access to employment of the City of Lorca, the government team recognizes up to three appeals filed by different Professional Associations, which have forced Declare void the call and stop the selection process to cover an environmental technician position, as it is contrary to the principle of equal access to public functions and positions
The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro has echoed the resources that the Official Colleges of Forest Engineers, Biologists of the Region of Murcia, and Forestry Technical Engineers and Graduates in Forestry and Natural Environment have Filed against the basis of the call for interim provision, by means of competition-opposition of a place of environmental technician, for being "contrary to the principle of equality in access to public functions and positions."
As reported by Antonio Navarro, the challenges of these Professional Associations have been estimated, and in fact, have forced the government team to recognize these irregularities.
In this way, they had to "declare null" the call and that "paralyze the selection process".
The reason for this, the non-inclusion of degrees in Forest Engineering or Degree in Forestry and Natural Engineering, or the degree of Biology Degree, or the degree of Forestry Engineer as a qualification requirement required of applicants.
Navarro assures "not knowing in what or who they would be thinking" from the City Council to "not contemplate" in bases to cover a place of environmental technician, titles as related as can be Forest Engineers, Biologists or Forestry Engineers.
He says that this event "multiplies" his suspicions about the "questioned cleaning" of the processes of selection of public employment in Lorca.
Suspicions that, as denounced, increased a few days ago, once the Popular Party refused to approve a battery of initiatives proposed by the PSOE in Plenary, all aimed at ensuring transparency and equal conditions in access to Employment in the City of Lorca, public companies (Aguas de Lorca and Limusa), and the mixed programs of Employment and Training.
The Socialist councilman accuses the Popular Party "that they seem to have something to hide" by rejecting measures aimed at "improving and putting light" in the processes of selection of personnel.
In this sense, since the last plenary session, he says that he "understands and shares" the "increasingly widespread" feeling of "suspicions and doubts" among candidates for public employment in Lorca.
He insists on "not knowing what motives" have led the PP to reject, among other measures, the possibility that the drawing of the agenda of access tests "be public and with the candidates as eyewitnesses", or that an agenda is defined Concrete for each test and be public.
In the Plenary PP also rejected the proposal to publicize the calls through the media, as well as to eliminate the personal interview, or at least to be limited to those processes where there is no other way to evaluate Objectively the merit and ability.
Navarro says that the personal interview is the one that in many cases makes the criterion of access to these places "subjective".
