From Citizens believe that Lorca's Holy Week must be above partisan political disputes or personal situation of the crier.
The municipal group Citizens shows their total respect to the decision of the Confraternities in the election of the person who will read the proclamation of Holy Week.
"Holy Week is the most important cultural and religious event in our municipality, and it is above that we can consider more or less appropriate the election of the town crier," says Councilman.
It should be remembered that the election of Pedro Antonio Sánchez as a proclaimer of this year's Holy Week, was made prior to his current judicial situation, "not attending the proclamation may imply an attempt to boycott the institutional act and damage the image Impeccable of the Lorca Holy Week, to which this Councilman has always supported. "
"We Lorca have always been united to enhance our Holy Week, regardless of the color of each or any circumstance, and so I think it should be this year."
Citizens are convinced that if the current situation of the president of the Autonomous Community could tarnish this act, "Lorca will demonstrate with our serene and responsible behavior turn it into irrelevant anecdote immediately," said the Councilman.
