The spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has ensured that the resignation of Francisco Jodar as Mayor of Lorca and his appointment as new Regional Government Adviser is the "chronicle of a march announced" with which the Popular Party " Confirms the electoral fraud they committed in 2015, by introducing a candidate knowing that mid-term would leave Lorca and Lorca. "
Mateos has taken advantage of the plenary session in which the resignation of Francisco Jodar as Mayor of Lorca has been made effective in recognizing his attitude "always respectful and willing to reach agreements with the opposition parties."
Likewise, he has wished the new Councilor "luck in his new performance", because he says that "his fate will be that of the entire Region and that of the Lorca".
In this sense, Mateos has offered to Jódar the "loyal collaboration" of his Municipal Group and that of his party, the PSOE, to work together for the benefit of the primary sector in Lorca, where the decisions of the Ministry, Water , Agriculture and Livestock will undoubtedly play a "crucial" role for the economic development of the municipality.
In a statement, Mateos commented that "time has given reason" to the Socialist Party.
He recalled that during the election campaign of 2015, the PSOE already warned of the plans with which the PP was presented in the last Municipal Elections.
With the resignation of Mayor Jodar mid-term, the "manifest deception" of the Popular Party is confirmed to its voters, when they presented themselves in 2015 to ask for the confidence of the Lorca in exchange for a project "no future" and with a candidate That "he was not ready to finish his term".
In this sense, Mateos has reproached Jódar to leave Lorca with the tasks of rebuilding the city after the earthquakes "still to be completed" almost six years after the earthquakes.
He also denounced that the former mayor left Murcia, leaving "half" many of his great electoral promises with which "at the time, managed to scratch thousands of votes to access the Mayor's Office," such as the Central Round or the Auditorium , Both projects whose completion date "nothing is known".
Likewise, says that Jódar leaves the Mayor of Lorca leaving a municipality "at the tail of the Region," with a fracture "of enormous inequality" between the city and the districts, and without being able to date, during their 10 years of mandate, neither to the arrival of the AVE to Lorca, nor to the rehabilitation of the Historical Center of the city, among other projects vital for the resurgence of the city of Lorca.
