Councilman Antonio Meca has informed at a press conference of the content of the legal report commissioned by his Municipal Group in which among other legal warnings: "NO COMPANY THAT HAD AS ACTIONED TO BROTHERS OF LADY EULALIA IBARRA COULD CONTRACT WITH THE CITY COUNCIL OF LORCA SO THE PURPOSE OF INCURRING, BETWEEN OTHERS, IN THE CRIME OF NEGOTIATIONS PROHIBITED TO OFFICIALS AND PUBLIC CHARGES ".

As can be seen from the Local Government Boards held from February 27, 2015 to September 2, 2016, the family business of Mrs. Eulalia Ibarra López "Ibarra Lorca SL" invoiced this City Council of Lorca 93,602.04 euros, in Works and services commissioned without contractual support, without asking for three budgets, with invoices that are not descriptive and with possible overcost over the market value, a fact that if confirmed could mean an alleged misappropriation of public funds.

Councilman Antonio Meca said: "We presented yesterday written to the Mayor advising him of alleged irregularities and illegalities that would occur in various works and services provided by the family business of the Councilwoman Mrs. Eulalia Ibarra for years ".

There is also the circumstance that all payments were approved in Local Government Boards with the participation of Ms. Ibarra and her vote in favor, made allegedly irregular by conflict of interest.

Another significant fact is that of the 93,602 euros billed, 70,797.96 were for rent of generators, whose invoices do not include descriptive details such as number of generator sets, days and hours of services, hour price, etc.

Circumstance leads to think that they would violate the legal requirement to specify the services contracted.

"In this regard we have asked Mr. Alcalde to charge the legal services and intervention of this City Council reports on these circumstances and not to rehire the family business of Mrs. Ibarra López or authorize any payment for any Service until all these facts are clarified and the reports requested are issued. "
