The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, together with the Councilor for Culture in the Municipal Consistory, Agustín Llamas, have reported that the VI edition of the Night of Museums, to be developed this next Saturday, will feature as outstanding novelties with the Possibility that all visitors can enjoy 3 very outstanding fruits of the work that is running in our town for the recovery of its heritage.
The Mayor has pointed out that it is about the incorporation of an advance of the work of recovery of the movable heritage of the Palace of Guevara, as well as of the rehabilitation works of the Collegiate of San Patricio and the more recent discoveries of the Califal Palace found in The subsoil of the Convento Patronal de la Virgen de las Huertas.
Fulgencio Gil has stated that the ambitious work of recovery and rehabilitation that is being developed in our city in matters of historical heritage has achieved that we can currently enjoy our treasure trove in the best state he has ever presented.
The effort of the Lorca has achieved that where before there was debris, today monuments are in perfect condition, and that is something that we can all be proud of, since it is the best legacy for the next generations of Lorca.

The Mayor has stated that each museum and each group has prepared a rich and varied program in which culture, tradition and fun go hand in hand.
We find theater visits, music, animations, competitions, gymkhanas, tastings or workshops, in general, activities for both the elderly and the smallest in the house.
Along with the programming of the different spaces, we will have another series of proposals that will energize the squares and streets of the urban center and, especially, the historical center:
The Plaza de San Vicente, for example, will offer the possibility of enjoying a concert of the Municipal Band of Lorca accompanied by video projections.
In the Plaza of Spain the Big Band of the Conservatory will offer a recital.
In Calderón Square we will have theater in the street.
In Lorca Plaza will perform the formation of jazz "Tremens Band".
In the Gardens of the Palace of San Julián will act diverse singer-songwriters.
Meanwhile, in Lope Gisbert we will have animation, music on balconies or live painting and in Corredera photocall or special television program.
It should also be noted that Funambulista will perform at the Teatro Guerra and we will have animations, dance exhibitions and special trains between the different museums and also between the Castle, the wall and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Huertas.
