The starting point has been the reading of a Manifesto in defense of the rights of older Lorca.
The idea behind the Manifesto is the commitment of the Mayor's Council, and of the City Council as a whole, with this sector of the population.
The Manifesto for Active Aging is structured in 7 points that meet the values ​​advocated by the World Health Organization and approved by the United Nations.

During his speech, Fulgencio Gil has highlighted the role of public administrations for this purpose.
