The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, announced that "the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Autonomous Community has launched the call for study aid for students of compulsory levels of education, primary And secondary education in schools supported by public funds located in the territory of the Region of Murcia, facing the course 2017-2018.

All students who are enrolled in public education centers in the Region of Murcia.Exceptionally, applications may be accepted from 1 to 15 September in the case of students who join a public school after the end of the Exceptionally, applications may also be accepted once the deadlines indicated above have been finalized, in the case of students who, due to compulsory schooling, join after September 15 ".
Applications are already available in the secretariats of the schools of the municipality, in the website www.educarm.es and in the offices of the Department of Education and University of the City of Lorca, located in Carruajes Square, The educational centers where the student is enrolled or going to enroll.
"The objective of the call is that students from families with lower income levels can benefit from the aid," said Montiel.
To obtain these grants, it will be essential that the income of the family unit in 2016 does not exceed, according to the number of eligible members, the maximum amounts determined in the call.

These aids are incompatible with others that could be obtained for the same purpose from other public administrations or public or private entities.
