The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Andrea Periago has announced that her group will take an initiative to the next plenary to request that an alternative space in the surroundings of the Alamedas, so that children have a children's play area while they last The works of the Park Pediatra Diego Pallarés Cachá.
The Socialist Group will ask that during the six months that the park is scheduled to remain closed for its comprehensive renovation, the City of Lorca "do not punish" users of these facilities "without a space nearby that can enjoy children's play areas" .
To this end, they will ask in the next plenary session that the new Councilor for Works will be happy to attend to this request, and in preparation for the beginning of the works next September, they will enable a space, duly bounded and marked in the playground environment, In which you can also take advantage of the current furniture, and with the works will be replaced by a new one.
In addition, they will ask the new mayor of Obras to open the door by correcting the decision of his predecessor, Mrs. Ibarra, to eliminate one of the main attractions of this park: children's sand areas.
Socialists consider it a mistake that the City of Lorca wants to deprive children of these "traditional" play areas that serve daily so dozens of children can enjoy "in the city" with their buckets and shovels in the sand .
At the same time, they request that it be kept in a minimum of hygienic conditions, since these hardly cost any.

He assures that for years the "degree of deterioration" of the park is "evident".
The last and most recent complaint that the Socialist Group raised in this regard was last summer, when they asked the town council to bet on the recovery of this park with the implementation of a work plan, and an agenda of actions aimed at To the Diego Pallares Cachá children's playground "to be a space preserved, taken care of, and appealing for the use and enjoyment of all Lorca".
