The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, announced several changes in the direction of traffic circulation motivated by the progress of the renovation works of the Alameda de Cervantes.
"In order to advance as much as possible during the summer, there will be several cuts, establishing from the Local Police the alternative routes pertinent to guarantee the displacements by the city and that lorquinos and lorquinas can continue to move with the traffic in spite of the Realization of the works, "said Edil.
From Wednesday 9 of August and throughout the summer will be cut the section between the crossing of the Cat and the railroad track, which will be the space where more incidence will have the works.
The cut affects the circulation in the oval direction.
Drivers from Central Ronda, Carretera de Águilas, Barrio de San Fernando, etc, will be able to access from the aforementioned junction of the Cat to the Alameda Poeta Para Vico, Calle Juana Martínez Soriano (behind the LIDL supermarket), Alameda Doctor Gimeno Baduell, Until access to the Alameda Rafael Méndez next to the wall of the Train Station and to resume the movement by Alameda de Cervantes in the passage by the railroad.
