The spokesman of the Municipal Group of IU-V in the City of Lorca, Pedro Sosa, has appeared this morning before the local media to ask the resignation of the councilman of the municipal government Saturnina Martinez, in charge of the recovery of Lorca after the earthquakes Of 2011.
Many residents of Lorca, says the mayor of IU-V, are returning to receive communications by certified mail from the Ministry of Presidency and Promotion of CARM on the aid received more than five years.
In these letters he realizes a meeting of the Joint Earthquake Commission that agrees to modify the amounts of subsidies granted by the autonomous community to hundreds of citizens shortly after the earthquakes.
In the communications that are being received by Lorca, the amount of the subsidy granted is recalculated, subtracting from it the amounts received by the beneficiaries of the Insurance Compensation Consortium.
Sosa bases the request of resignation of the councilman of the PP in two questions.
On the one hand, it states that the meeting of the Joint Commission, which was attended by a municipal representative that we understand should have been the Councilor of the Earthquake, was held last July 27, just one day before the ordinary municipal plenary session of that month.
In that plenary session, points out Pedro Sosa, there were no less than two motions - one of them by IU - which dealt with the letters that CARM had sent to hundreds of Lorca, informing them of the opening of the procedures for reimbursement of aid.
In that plenary we unanimously approved to urge CARM to replace the documentary evidence required for the justification of the aid by "in situ" verification of the administration technicians in the affected homes.
There was the earthquake councilor, says Sosa, and not only approved that municipal agreement but also said nothing about that meeting of the Joint Commission, or that agreement that goes against what she approved a day later.
This implies an absolute disloyalty of the councilman Saturnina Martínez as much towards all the members of the municipal corporation as towards the citizens of Lorca.
On the other hand, Sosa contends, it makes no sense for the councilor of the earthquake to attend a meeting of the Joint Commission that approves this new communication of communications to Lorca, and does not require that, before starting a new shipment of letters Which does not make any sense, to respond to the appeals and allegations that have been raised against the procedures for reimbursement of which they are a party.
Sosa maintains that the resources that are interposing resources are covered by the law and have the right to be answered reasonably and not to continue to get dizzy with communications that bypass their resources and allegations.
