Pedro Sosa, a spokesman for Izquierda Unida Verdes in the city of Lorca, has sued this morning at a press conference an Extraordinary General Meeting of Limusa to discuss the issues that remained pending from the last ordinary session held last June and clarify the functions of your manager.

At the same meeting in June, two opposition points were not dealt with at the request of the opposition groups, one concerning the redefinition of powers of the Management and the Board of Directors, and the other concerning the updating of internal recruitment and selection regulations of personal.

For Sosa these matters are of great importance to be treated separately, because from their organization they have always been very critical because of the lack of transparency and ambiguity of the personnel selection processes, which always entail numerous complaints by the aspirants for these same reasons.

Nor does the mayor understand, and less after reviewing the internal rules of the company where nothing is clear, that the hiring of matters as important as the construction of the new glass, with an amount of more than six million euros, is a competition which should correspond to the manager, while the members of the opposition who are part of the Board of Directors play a role of mere vases.

For this reason, he has accused the current Mayor and the manager of alleged unfair administration of the company, by permanently obviating the opposition advisers.

Another issue that Sosa has warned about is the strike that the Limusa workers will carry out in mid-September, if their demands are not fulfilled as regards the replacement of accruals of seniority due to them, the lack of personnel, if the signed agreements are not respected and the lack of investment in equipment and machinery is solved.

The mayor is completely in solidarity with his demands and offers all the support of his municipal group to such fair demands and of which Sosa makes responsible the Manager of the company, Santos González, for his poor management.

For this reason, Sosa urges Mayor Fulgencio Gil to take charge of these issues, given the manifest inefficiency and despotism of the current manager, to honor the word given to opposition groups at the beginning of the legislature for the which was committed to maintaining dialogue and consensus with them and not to do the same as other important issues such as the celebration of the state of the municipality or the approval of the Organic Regulation on the operation of the plenary, which has relegated to the drawer of oblivion.
