The Councilor for Emergencies of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, took stock this morning of the actions carried out by the Municipal Emergency and Civil Protection Service within the Rescue Plan (Plan Copla 2017) on the beaches of the Lorca coast.

Juan Miguel Bayonas recalled that "during the summer months the Municipal Emergency and Civil Protection Service of the City of Lorca has participated in the Copla Plan in coordination with the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies of the Ministry of Regional Government Presidency. an integrated emergency care system has been established to provide an immediate, effective and coordinated response to any emergency situation in the coastal strip that runs from the beach of Parazuelos, on the Mazarrón border, to the Galera beach with the municipality of Águilas.At this season the professional human resources and necessary materials have been deployed that allow the start up of the services of surveillance, rescue and daily rescue from 11.00 to 20.00 hours uninterrupted.
