Councilor of Culture Agustín Llamas recalled that last June a joint motion was approved at the request of the Municipal Citizens Group for the creation of a committee of experts to study the project to start the museum.
The event was attended by members of the four Municipal Groups and members of this commission, especially Ignacio Yepes, son of the illustrious Lorca guitarist, who has very positively valued the unanimous agreement of the municipal corporation and has transmitted the joy of his family for this initiative.
Immediately after the presentation, the commission has met in the City Hall to hold its first working meeting and coordinate the different actions that will be carried out in these early moments such as funding, location, museum fund, etc.
Councilman Antonio Meca stressed the consensus of the four municipal groups and thanked "his willingness to the Mayor and all my colleagues in the corporation, especially the Councilman of Culture Mr. Agustín Llamas for their support and encouragement of this initiative."
