True to its appointment during the days of Sports Games of the Guadalentín, the Contest City of Lorca of Fishing Sport celebrated its twentieth edition during the afternoon and night of Saturday to Sunday, remembering why it is one of the indispensable tests within the programming of the lorquinas olympics.
The Association of Sport Fishing City of Lorca gathered on this occasion 68 couples of 18 clubs, historical record and figure that places it as a reference championship.
Among the participants we find fishermen from all over the Region of Murcia, but also from other communities like Andalusia or Comunidad Valenciana and even world champions and champions of Spain of different categories.
On this occasion the weather accompanied and the good forecasts came true;
a small gust of wind at the beginning gave way to a great night for fishing that did not disappoint the fishermen, because in fact all the couples involved got catches.
Among the pieces captured was a stripe of 1 kilo and 70 grams which won the prize for the largest weight catch, as well as several goldfish that almost reached the kilogram.
One more year next to the federated contest was held the Local Open in its twelfth edition, which provided the opportunity for Lorca fans to join this sport fishing party.
The coexistence ended with a big lunch in which the weighing and the awards ceremony took place, taking the trophy the first 10 couples of the Contest and the first 5 of the Open.
This time the weighing raised much expectation, since the final classification was defined by very little difference, having tens of fishermen in the threshold of a few hundreds of grams.
Only congratulations to the Association of Sport Fishing for the celebration of this twentieth anniversary and for the participation and level of your test.
