Juventudes Socialistas assures that the prices of the performances of payment for the Fair of Lorca "are not intended for the majority of young people", since "there is a total disconnection between the interests of the young people of Lorca and those who are called representatives of young people in the PP government in the City of Lorca "
Juventudes Socialistas de Lorca (JSL) has shown its dissatisfaction with the high price of the tickets to the concerts of payment programmed for the Fair and Festivals of September in Lorca, as they say "they are not intended for the majority of young people."
The young socialists say that the high prices of these shows are "totally inaccessible" for most young Lorca who either have no job or, if they have one, have a payroll with which they can not even afford the "luxury" to enjoy these concerts "because they can hardly make ends meet".
The Secretary General of JSL, José Ángel Ponce assures that the price that the PP government team has established for the fair payment concerts "distract" those who are worse going through the events of this crisis, adding "more than crisis, is an economic model "of the Popular Party" that has come to stay "and whose direct consequence is being" a labor market with jobs without rights and low wages. "
Ponce regrets that the Popular Party does not choose to apply "formulas" capable of respecting and recognizing, of course, the value of culture and the rights and work of authors, but also the interests and needs of young people.
Therefore, it reproaches the government team that, for example, it has been unable to promote the start-up of the youth card, proposed by the PSOE, and that could have served for the young people could benefit from discounts on the purchase of these entries.
In the same way, the young socialists defend the idea of acquiring bonds with which to be able to accede to several concerts by a "reduced price".
In short, they miss that those who have the task of governing "do not squeeze their heads" to ensure a better way to govern the interests of young people.
Ponce attributes this situation to the "total disconnection" between the youth of Lorca and those who are called "youth representatives" in the municipal government of the City of Lorca, unable to "identify with the concerns of young people."
In fact, says that the Department of Youth has been moved to a third plane, a place that, according to Ponce, of course "does not deserve."
