The Emergency Councilor of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, accompanied by the Director General of Public Safety and Emergencies of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, José Ramón Carrasco, reported this morning on the "Special Plan for Emergencies Fair and Festivals 2017 "which has been prepared since the Lorca Consistory and which establishes the necessary rules regarding the operation of safety and emergencies of the main acts of these parties that will take place in the town of Lorca beginning on Friday 15 September until Monday, September 25.
Juan Miguel Bayonas explained that "the Plan will be activated in the pre-emergence phase a few hours before the celebration of each of the main events that make up the program of these holidays, constituting the two weekends the most exciting moments of the holidays by the incessant activity both in the fairground of the Orchard of the Wheel and in the Fair of Mediodía by the streets and squares of the urban helmet of Lorca.the preventive devices will be attended with the necessary additional means, as well as the timely movement of the same. For this, it will count on a deployment around the 600 people and 100 vehicles, that will participate throughout the multiple events that contemplates the program of acts in the different services to establish ".
Specifically, there are 75 personnel and 12 vehicles of the Emergency and Voluntary Service of Civil Protection and collaboration of other groups;
133 personnel and 39 vehicles of Local Police;
47 personnel and 9 vehicles of the Consortium of Extinction of Fire;
66 volunteers and 11 material resources of Red Cross Lorca;
9 staff and 4 vehicles of the Murcian Health Service 061 and 28 vigilantes and 14 auxiliaries of Private Security and Auxiliary Services.
On the part of the National Police, the necessary services will be established in order to meet the demands in the Fair of Mediodía as in the Fairground of the Garden of the Wheel with Special Units, as the general guarantee of citizen security.
