The socialist spokesman warns Gil Jódar that they will remain very vigilant to comply with the agreement reached between the City of Lorca and the workers of the municipal enterprise, not only regarding the return of seniority but also respect for the social rights of employees, rights that despite not costing a penny to the City of Lorca are being denied these employees as they were snatched them by the PP cuts in 2012.
The Spokesman of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego José Mateos has "positively" valued the agreement reached today between the City of Lorca and representatives of the Committee of workers of the municipal cleaning company Limusa, with which it has managed to dismiss the strike scheduled for next 15 and 18 September.
Diego José Mateos says he understands that it is a "satisfactory" agreement and warns Gil Jódar that they will remain "very vigilant" to ensure that they respect and comply with, not only the repayment of all seniority accrued by the PP in 2012, but also on the recognition of social rights;
rights that despite not costing "a cent to the City of Lorca" are denied these employees as they were also cut by the PP in 2012.
Despite positively assessing this agreement, Mateos regrets that it has had to reach this point, even with the real possibility that the city suffered the negative consequences of a clean-up strike at the fair.
And everything, adds Mateos, by the "pressure and lack of dialogue" of management and the current Mayor and former delegate council of LIMUSA, who have also been unable to heed the numerous and insistent denunciations of the PSOE.
Socialists have for months warned that the Limusa management is breaching the rules on pay, even though there are legal reports that give workers reason as to the right to charge for seniority that they have frozen improperly since 2012.
Mateos hopes that this agreement will be ratified by the workers of the municipal cleaning company.
He assures that "if it is satisfactory for the workers, so it is for the Socialist Party".
He has hoped that this agreement will serve, in short, to improve the city's cleaning service, the control of ORA and interior cleaning, which, after all, has been hopeful "will result in the well-being of Lorca" .
