The Youth Council and the Youth Area of ​​the United Left in Lorca join the solidarity campaign launched a few weeks ago by Socialist Youth with the objective of collecting school material to facilitate the return to school to the Lorca families most in need.
The aid will be destined through Red Cross Lorca, with this campaign that will last until the 30 of September.
The Secretary General of Socialist Youth, José Ángel Ponce, together with the President of the Youth Council, Ricardo Trapero, and the coordinator of the IU youth area in Lorca, Antonio Pujante, presented the solidarity campaign to collect school material with which seek to collect material to make "back to school" easier for Lorca families in need.
The aid will be sent to these families through the Red Cross of Lorca.
This is the third edition of this solidarity campaign organized by Juventudes Socialistas in Lorca.
In the words of José Ángel Ponce, "the good news is that, for the first time, more youth groups are united, united in this just cause."
With the collaboration of the Youth Council and the youth area of ​​IU in Lorca, they increase the number of volunteers with which they say "adding we will be able to go further" than in previous editions "for the good of these families."

The campaign of collection that begins today will arrive until the next 30 of September.
The youth have established two collection points that will be installed at the Youth Council headquarters (Youth Resource Center M13, next to the University Campus) and at the headquarters of the Socialist Association of Lorca (Plaza Real s / n, together the Pilar Barnés Library).
In addition, they will take this campaign to the doors of local establishments of the city to take advantage of the dates in which the lorquinos go to greater extent for the purchase of this type of material.
This campaign also aims at facilitating the work carried out every day by entities such as Cruz Roja Lorca, "overwhelmed" to the large number of families who need help to facilitate a return to school in dignified conditions and to ensure "real equality of opportunities. "
From the collaborating entities, they encourage Lorca to participate in this solidarity campaign.
They assure that "all help is necessary" in the form of school material "of all kinds".
Notebooks, cases, crayons, pens, pencils, cases or backpacks is the material that young people request to target those who need it most.
