The mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has held a working meeting with the president of the Association of Outbound Salesmen, Pedro Reverte, and its board of directors, as well as with the General Secretary of Ceclor, Maria del Mar Peñarrubia, to discuss various issues and future projects that will greatly benefit the city and the sellers themselves.
Fulgencio Gil said that "during the meeting, which was also attended by the Councilors of Squares and Markets and Promotion, María del Carmen Ruiz and Angel Mecca, respectively, it has been proposed that a weekly market edition be held in a a place as symbolic as the one of its origin in Lorca.This place would be the Plaza of Spain, in the historical center of Lorca, so it would be added to the different initiatives that are being developed by the Lorca Consistory to energize our spectacular helmet historical".
The Mayor of Lorca added that "this is a project that is under study by both the City Council and the merchants, since it has to weigh the viability of it.
