The XXXIX Sports Games of Guadalentín face their fourth weekend with an agenda full of sports activities, especially the Mountain Crossing that turns 39, as many as the Games themselves.
On Friday will be the awards ceremony of the First Contest of Creative Arts, Physical Activity and Sport, CREASPORT, from 19 hours in the Cultural Hall of CajaMurcia, organized by the Forum of Physical Education and Sport with the collaboration of the Department of Sports.
The attendees will have the opportunity to know the winning works in the categories of cinema, short story and digital photography.
Saturday's schedule will begin in the afternoon with the celebration of the Sports Games of Guadalentín de Rugby, both in its masculine and feminine category.
Every year, this event is the presentation of the teams of the Rugby Club Lorca facing the imminent start of the season.
At 16 hours the sports court of La Torrecilla will host the confrontation between Lorca and Totana;
to the end of the same will be the women of Lorca that they face the XV Rugby of Murcia, completing an entertaining afternoon.
At 16.30 hours in the Felipe VI Sports Complex karate returns to the program of the Lorca Olympics with the Interprovincial Kyokushinkai Karate.
More than 200 young people from schools in Lorca, Murcia, Almeria and Alicante will meet to compete in both katas and kumites, promising an exciting day with which to enjoy this martial art so ingrained in the City of the Sun.
On the same afternoon of Saturday the participants in the Mountain Night Crossing will depart to the place of celebration.
Hiking, orienteering and adventure go hand in hand within a framework as spectacular as the nature of the municipality of Lorca.
At 21 hours will begin the test the first participants, having planned the arrival of the last around 5 in the morning.
On Sunday at 11 o'clock will be the delivery of medals.
On Sunday, the Games will host the Regional Archery Championship to be held at the '82 World Football Ground.
From the 9 hours more than 60 archers of the whole regional geography will compete in the different categories and with different arcs to obtain the medals of the Games.
Fitness Day will also feature on Sunday, starting at 11:00 in Calderon Square.
With this activity, the best of targeted fitness activities is taken to the streets, allowing you to learn about new disciplines.
Up to 12 hours there will be spinning;
from 12 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., the jump will begin, a high intensity activity that will begin on Monday at the Felipe VI Sports Complex;
and from 12.30 to 13.30 we will have zumba.
The inscriptions will be made right there before the tests and are free;
in addition the participants will choose to draw gifts like sports equipment and bonuses for Felipe VI.
We will close Sunday with a basketball game.
After the celebration of the international match between UCAM and Sanitary Works and the City of Lorca Tournament, the basketball bids farewell to this edition of the Lorca Olympiad with the match between Lorca FC-AD Eliocroca and Huércal-Overa from 12 hours in the Felipe VI Sports Complex.
