The Council of Commerce of the City of Lorca, María del Carmen Ruiz, and the president of the Union of Merchants of Lorca, Antonio Martinez, presented this morning the second edition of 'Lorca is fashionable', a new initiative in which will celebrate four solidarity parades in different monumental spaces of the city from next Tuesday, October 3 to Friday 6.
Maria del Carmen Ruiz explained that "like the previous edition, it is a solidarity initiative that this year will allocate its proceeds to APAT Lorca, a non-profit group that works for and to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities in their first years of life and thus have a future full of possibilities, with special attention to children who end their treatment in the Municipal Early Care Center 'Fina Navarro López'.
The Councilman of Commerce has stated that "the project consists of the holding of parades with models in different places. On Tuesday October 3 will take place in Plaza Calderón, Wednesday 4 in the Plaza de España, Thursday, October 5 in Convento de la Merced and on Friday the 6th in the Huerto Ruano, all of them will be made from 20:30 to 21:30 hours and serve to show clothes that are available in different shops in the city.In the same will participate more than 35 businesses, and there are more than 45 companies that will participate directly or indirectly in the event. "
As a charity event have been put on sale at a price of 5 euros the chairs from which will be seen the different parades, with limited capacity, so it is necessary the previous acquisition of localities in the premises of the firms participants in the Cultural Center or from the same Association of Parents and Mothers of Early Childhood Lorca.
During these parades we will have an exhibition-show of hairdressing and make-up live, jewelry, accessories, as well as with new trends in the most youthful fashion, children or ceremonies and atelier.
In addition, for the decoration will be the collaboration of Gredecor, Floristeria Jazmin, La Antigua Colonial and Amparo Escriche.
The music will also be present thanks to the School of Music Albeniz and Albanta.
It is noteworthy that the designers Lorca and Murcia will also have their niche in this catwalk.

Sol Ferrándiz, one of our most famous designers and Esther Berruezo, fashion designer and atelier, among others.
Ruiz stressed that "from the City of Lorca, the Union of Merchants and the General Directorate of Trade of the Autonomous Community we launch this second edition of the Fashion Week in our endeavor to boost economic, social and commercial activity of the city, following the joint work carried out in the framework of the Project of Revitalization of the Historical Center and the Town Center of the Open Commercial Center of the City of the Sun, with which we are going to continue promoting Lorca like commercial capital of Guadalentín and the levante almeriense ".
The activity, under the motto 'Querrás moda en Lorca', seeks to recover patrimonial and culturally protected spaces for the enjoyment of all Lorca. Remember that a few days ago we enjoyed the plazas and streets of Lorca de la Feria, and fifteen days return to the street (Plaza Calderón, Plaza España, La Merced Convent and Huerto Ruano) to enjoy the fashion and the good atmosphere.
