The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos will defend in the next plenary session a motion with which the Lorca socialists call for a plan of action to improve infrastructure and public services to end a "decade of punishment" Partido Popular towards the hamlet of Zarzadilla de Totana.
Mateos affirms that the situation of abandonment that presents this district is the "general tonic" that is repeated in almost all the municipal councils of the municipal term.
The socialist spokesman said that the state of the hamlet is the result of the "serious fracture" that the PP has created between the neighbors who reside in the city and in the councils, especially those farthest from the urban center.
Diego José Mateos speaks of a "decade of zero investments" by the Popular Party, both for the creation of new spaces and, above all, for the "basic and elemental" maintenance of infrastructures, which have fallen into "total desidia" and whose reparation "will be more expensive for all Lorca as long as the PP" is letting them die. "
Mateos will ask the City Council to prioritize the recovery and maintenance of infrastructure and services of municipal ownership deteriorated.
Among the infrastructures that need an "urgent repair" are the pavilion of multiple uses, the social place of the association of young people, parks and squares of the hamlet or laundries.
Likewise, they will again claim to the PP a definitive solution to the continuous failures in the reception of the DTT signal in the hamlet.
In addition, in the area of ​​town planning, they will focus their initiative on asking the owners of houses in danger of collapse to take whatever measures are necessary to maintain them, and to initiate further studies necessary for the modification of the PGOU and the location of industrial land.

The construction of the C-9 highway has been delayed for years, and has been the subject of continuous "empty promises" by the Popular Party governments.
The improvement of the communications that the PSOE pursues for this hamlet is completed with its request also for the renovation and endowment of the services of the section of road of access to the urban nucleus of Totana Zarzadilla.
