The City Council of Lorca approves a joint motion in solidarity with the people of Mexico for the earthquake suffered last September 19. The Municipal Council expresses the sentiment of solidarity and absolute support to the people of Mexico and call (29/09/2017)

The Municipal Plenary of the City Council of Lorca held this morning has approved a joint motion in solidarity with Mexico after the seismic movements happened last September 19 and has led to a catastrophe with irreparable loss of people and heavy damages, thus devastating the Mexican people who is now under the rubble of this strong jolt.

The terrible situation that the people of Mexico brings brings us the very close memory and a situation still present since we know the pain and suffering that is a disaster of this magnitude.

Therefore, the City of Lorca feels obliged to assume this misfortune as his own and to express and state their most sincere sentiment of absolute support and solidarity with the people of Mexico.
