The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, presided this morning the ordinary session of the Town Hall Plenary for the month of September.

The points addressed and the result of their corresponding votes were as follows:

1-.

Approval of minutes of previous sessions.

Adopted unanimously.

2-.

Approval of the General Account for the year 2016. Approved by 13 votes in favor (PP), 11 against (PSOE + IU) and 1 abstention (C's).

3-.

Approval of file No 11 for the modification of credits by transfer of credits.

Approved by 13 votes in favor (PP), 4 against (IU + C's) and 8 abstentions (PSOE).

4-.

Deception of Decree of Mayor's Office.

Adopted unanimously.

5-.

Joint motion of all municipal groups on extension for 2018, of the tax benefits granted to Lorca in Law 3/2017, of June 27, General State Budgets for the year 2017. Approved unanimously.

6-.

Joint motion of all the Municipal Groups of solidarity and support to the people of Mexico for the earthquake suffered last September 19, 2017. Approved unanimously.

7-.

Motion of the Mayor on participatory budgets.

Adopted unanimously.

8-.

Motion of the Municipal Socialist Group on the coexistence of guaranteeing the supply of water for irrigation permanently and at a price that allows to be competitive to the farmers of Lorca.

First and second agreement rejected by 13 votes against (PP) and 11 in favor (PSOE + IU + C's);

third agreement approved by 22 votes in favor and 2 against.

9-.

Motion of the Socialist Municipal Group for the improvement of citizen security in the municipality of Lorca and improvement of the material and human resources of the security forces.

Approved unanimously after an agreement presented by the PP.

10-.

Motion of the Socialist Municipal Group on the current situation and the necessary actions in the hamlet of Zarzadilla de Totana.

Approved unanimously after an agreement presented by the PP.

eleven-.

Motion of the United Left-Green Municipal Group on the request to CARM for the application of the agreement of the plenary of Lorca on verification procedures that justify the subsidies to those affected by the earthquakes of 2011. Approved unanimously after different agreements presented by the Municipal Groups.

(NOTE: The plenary agreement will be made public as soon as the Secretariat of the Plenary drafts it).

12-.

Motion of the United Left-Greens Municipal Group on the arrival of the AVE to the municipality of Lorca.

Approved following amendment tabled by PP by 16 votes in favor (PP + IU + C's) and 8 abstentions (PSOE).

13-.

Motion of the United Left-Green Municipal Group on primary school pupils from districts during non-school hours.

Rejected by 14 votes against (PP + C's) and 10 votes in favor (IU + PSOE).

14-.

Motion of the Municipal Group Citizens to register Lorca within the European network "EUROVELO" Mediterranean route.

First, second and fourth agreements adopted unanimously;

third agreement approved by 22 votes in favor (PP + PSOE + C's) and 2 against (UI).

Motion of the Municipal Citizens Group on the creation of lagoons or reservoirs for use in the extinction of forest fires.
