One of the most anticipated events of the Guadalentín Sports Games was the awards ceremony of the Creative Arts, Physical Activity and Sport Contest, CREASPORT in its first edition.
This contest, organized by the Forum of Physical Education and Sports of Lorca and the Department of Sports.
It was an ambitious contest that aimed to offer a channel of communication between the worlds of art, specifically through the cinema, short story or digital photography, and physical activity.
This Friday the CajaMurcia Culture Hall has hosted the awards ceremony, a day more than expected by fans of culture and sports lorquino, because I wanted to meet the winners of this first edition of a contest that was born with much illusion and with desire to fill an empty space in the arts as it was the one of the sport culture.
This was highlighted by the deputy mayor of the city, Francisco Montiel, who inaugurated the awards ceremony highlighting the importance of consolidating a contest like this one that already in its first edition has been so well received and that will allow two worlds as dynamic in our municipality as are the culture and the sport come together thanks to this initiative.
Until June 30, a total of 29 works were presented in the mode of cinema, 156 in short story and 224 in digital photography, among them works of great quality and coming from all Europe, South America and countries like Uganda or Israel.
Also qualified a category for students enrolled in the center of Lorca received a prize of 150 euros and a diploma.
In the free category each prize consisted of 1,000 euros and diploma.
In the story contest the winner was Frank Kelle with his narration "The leap of a life".
In the photography contest, the jury chose the image titled "Fútbol II" by José Beut Duato as winner.
Finally, in the contest of short films the winner was "The real men do not cry" by Lucas Castán, highlighting the high level of the 5 short films exhibited during the awards ceremony.
In this category the following runners-up were awarded:
-Best Original Soundtrack: Pliny Prophet for the short film "The man on the side lane".
-Best Photography: Nicolás Richat for the short film "Las nadadoras de Villa Rosa".
- Best Screenplay: Cibele Santa Cruz, Leonardo Marina and Paula Horta for the short film "El hombre del carril del bordado".
-Better Male Performance: Cadu Favero for the short film "The man on the side lane".
- Best Female Performance: Elsa Bouchain for the short film "Descanso".
The gala finalized with the photograph of all the winners and with the desire that the contest will settle in the local programming until becoming the indispensable event that for its level deserves to be.
