At the Local Government Board on September 18, 2015, the Department of Commerce proposed the approval of an agreement between the City Council and the Regional Trade Union of Lorca, to provide furniture and commercial equipment of the "Mercado de San Clemente" ( current Market of the Sun) granting a subsidy of 418,075.57 euros.

This subsidy was contracted from the municipal budget, specifically to the heading No.30.2317.61955 of the Municipal Budget of 2015.

According to information from the Department of Commerce and Crafts of the City of Lorca on 14 February, "the Market of the Sun has received a subsidy of 500,000 euros from the Plan for Improvement of Productivity and competitiveness of trade 2012."

Antonio Mecca is going to ask the Government Team to "inform us in detail of all the subsidies destined to the project of the Market of the Sun, so much of the central, autonomic and local administration".

This municipal group wants to know:

what has been the total investment.

How much has been obtained through subsidies of the different administrations.

How much has the promoter company obtained from the entrepreneurs who have settled there.

What has been the amount invested by the promoter company.

The right to this information is part of the agreement signed between the City of Lorca and the Union of Merchants, which says:

"JUSTIFICATION

Within three months of the completion of the activity that is the object of this agreement, the UNION COMARCAL DE TRÉCEROS DE LORCA must justify the accomplishment of the same, according to its budget.

A classified relation of the expenses and investments of the activity, with identifier of the creditor and of the document, its amount, date of emission and date of payment.

Originals of invoices or documents of equivalent probative value in legal commercial traffic, the total amount of which must correspond to the budget of the activities for which the grant is awarded.

A detail of other income or subsidies that have financed the activity the subsidized activity, indicating the amount and origin "
