The XXXIX Sports Games of the Guadalentín began offering a test of orientation and they arrived at their last weekend offering a new activity of this type.
First was the orientation in mountain bike and now it was the turn to the more traditional orientation but through an enriching training day.
And, as in previous years, from the Club Lorca-O wanted to bet on a course of initiation that allowed to publicize the charms of this sport that always hooks the test.
The Sports Hall hosted the theoretical session on Saturday morning.
In it, Antonio Porlán, Joaquín Giner, Laura López and María José Romera shared the first notions about orientation: map interpretation, mapping, symbology, beacons and some basic principles to get to know the specialties of the modality.
After this first hour of theoretical training, it was time to go out into the open and put the knowledge into practice.
To do this the participants moved to Las Alamedas, where for 2 hours the plans became roads and the new advisors were able to introduce themselves in this healthy activity.
And to complete the weekend, all those registered were invited to attend the test of the Regional League Murciana held in Santomera to contemplate how it is a test of this nature and to join in the coming months to join the illustrious club Lorca and world of orientation.
