The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas has presented with the president of the Association Lorca Santiago, José Antonio González and the treasurer of this organization, Roque Moya, the 'Pilgrimage from Lorca to Caravaca de la Cruz', for the Way of Santiago of the Route of the Argar, scheduled for 21 and 22 October.
This is the 'Fourth Jubilee Pilgrimage', since there are four jubilee years that have gone since the celebration of the Jubilee year in perpetuity was granted to Caravaca de la Cruz, although Lorca Santiago has made another pilgrimage outside of these holy years.
Bayonas has indicated that the first stage is scheduled for next Saturday, October 21, and will run between Lorca and Zarcilla de Ramos, with a distance of 30 kilometers and 360 meters of positive gradient.
The departure is scheduled at 8 in the morning from the Church of Santiago and the expected duration will be about 8 hours, including breaks and food en route, which must each carry.
There will be another optional route also on Saturday, after a rest in Zarcilla de Ramos, will cross the 15 km distance that separate them from Coy, with about 250 meters of positive gradient, and a route to be made in about 3 hours.
The Saturday night will be made at Albergue de Coy, for those who want, the places are limited and will cost € 13 with bed and breakfast and € 7 dinner.
For Sunday, October 22, the third stage is scheduled between Coy and Caravaca de la Cruz and the 23 kilometers from there, to do in 5 hours, including breaks and lunch en route (you must take each).
The exit will be at 6 in the morning from the door of the hostel of Coy.
The arrival in Caravaca de la Cruz is scheduled for 12 hours for the mass of the pilgrim.
This activity is priced at € 10 for members and € 15 for non-members.
Includes Guides, support car, Saturday night, breakfast for pilgrims on foot on Sunday and lunch for cyclists on Sunday, Jubilee credential and bus back on Sunday.
Guides and car support will be provided, which will distribute water and meet the needs that pilgrims may need, as well as transporting the necessary equipment for the pilgrimage.
In addition, on the 22nd the pilgrimage will be made by mountain bike, in a day with a route of 67 km and 650 meters of positive gradient, to perform in about 5 hours including breaks and lunch en route.
The departure will be at 7 hours from the door of the Church of Santiago, and lunch is planned in the hamlet of Doña Ines.
The arrival in Caravaca will be about 12:30 to participate in the mass of the pilgrim in the Sanctuary of Stma.

From Lorca Santiago indicate that, if federal insurance is not available, it may be processed for the day of the activity, for which it will be necessary to indicate name and surname, ID, date of birth and e-mail (it costs 3.50 € for hiking and € 4.50 for BXM).
