The Governing Council has today approved the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community, through the Murciano Institute of Social Action, and the City of Lorca, for the provision of home help for dependent persons , for the amount of 1,153,552 euros.
The envisaged endowment will cover from next November until March 31, 2019.
The budget will go to actions in the domicile of the people in situation of dependency, in order to attend the necessities of their daily life.
They can be services related to domestic or household needs, such as cleaning, washing, cooking or other, as well as personal care and daily activities.
The beneficiaries of the home help service are those persons who have recognized a situation of dependence in a degree of protection and resolution of recognition of the right, in accordance with the provisions of their Individual Care Program (PIA) in accordance with the provisions of the Promotion Law of the Personal Autonomy and Care to the people in situation of dependence.
The service provides professional care to these dependents in their homes, as well as a continuous monitoring of their situation by the Municipal Social Services.
