The Socialists denounce the lamentable state of dirt and abandonment that presents the environment of the Sacred Heart CEIP by the negligence of the City of Lorca, and demand the increase of the cleaning tasks next to a campaign of citizen awareness, and of sanctions to those responsible for the uncompromising behaviors to improve the appearance of the main streets of the neighborhood

The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, David Romera has claimed the increase of cleaning tasks in the area of ​​the Sacred Heart CEIP as well as the implementation of specific measures of cleaning and maintenance of the main public roads of the Neighborhood, accompanied by a public awareness campaign to improve the urban aspect of this area "marginalized" by the Lorca consistory.

Romera has referred to the "painful" image offered by some of the main streets that surround the Sacred Heart CEIP, as well as the lack of cleanliness evidenced by the state of Los Curtidores park.

The mayor denounces the lack of sanitation in an environment, he recalls, daily traveled by children and families, so it urges the government team of the Popular Party to adjust and maintain in "optimum" conditions this area of ​​the "abandoned" neighborhood.

David Romera echoes the neighborhood complaints due to the "dirty image" presented by most of the neighborhood's streets and urban spaces.

He assures that the feeling of being "discriminated" by the City of Lorca is becoming increasingly widespread among neighbors, due to their lack of attention to the spaces of more recent creation.

The mayor assures that the image that the City council of Lorca projects of the Neighborhood is "shameful".

Romera demands intensification of the cleaning tasks to combat dirt, which is especially acute in areas where garbage containers are installed, as well as in most corners and sidewalks, where more excrement and urine are accumulated. animals.

In this sense, Romera insists on accompanying the reinforcement of the municipal cleaning tasks with the implementation, on the part of the consistory, of a citizen awareness campaign so that citizenship and improve "among all" the appearance of the main streets del Barrio.

The mayor says that it is important to increase the cleaning tasks, but also the citizen awareness and the sanction between an "irresponsible minority" that does not contribute what is necessary to keep the city clean.

Socialists call for intensification of the tasks of cleaning and daily cleaning, and consider that there is a greater impact on awareness and sanctions towards those responsible for the uncompromising tasks that damage the image of the city.

However, he insists that the PP's government team should be the first to "set an example," starting with a failure to discriminate against the Barrio and to allocate more resources to keep the streets of San Diego and San Cristobal.
