This event will feature sporting boules and swimming, and the different events will be held in the Las Ramblas de las Señoritas and in the pool of San Antonio, from 11 in the morning.

The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, presented with the Director General of Sports of the CARM, Alonso Gomez, the president of the Federation of Sports for people with intellectual disabilities in the Region of Murcia (FEDEMIPS-Murcia Region ), José Zomeño, and Deputy Provincial Sports and Youth of the Diputación de Almería, Ángeles Martínez, the "II Almería-Murcia Sports Meeting for people with intellectual disabilities", which will take place next Thursday, November 2 in the Pool of San Antonio and in the Rambla de las Señoritas de La Viña.

The president of Fedemips - Region of Murcia, José Zomeño, recalled that "the Federation was born at the end of 1995, and was the culmination of more than ten years of work of the Association ANDE Murcia to promote sports among people with disabilities intellectual property in our Region.There were eleven legally constituted clubs that promoted the start-up of the Sports Federation, including the Lorca centers of Apandis, Asprodes and the Pilar Soubrier Special Education College.Federemips is integrated in the Federation Spanish Federation of Sports for the Disabled (FEDDI) The Federation presents annually a work program based on a diversified offer of participation in sports activities, both at regional and national level, with the sole objective of making possible the participation of all , without further exclusion or restriction than those derived from the pot itself

The program of next Thursday, November 2, will start at 11:00 a.m. with the incorporation of all participating centers.
Then there will be a meeting of the delegates of each center;
so that at 11:30 am sports performances begin, which will end at 2:00 pm, when it is planned to award prizes at the IES San Juan Bosco Track.
Also about 15:00 hours will be developed a coexistence between all participating clubs.
As for the swimming test, both male and female, three levels of participation are established: Level I Competition, II Adapted and III Sports Skills, according to the competition of the participants.
An athlete can only be enrolled in a level of participation, not being able to perform, tests at one level and another.
In addition, each athlete can participate, at most, in one test plus one relay.
The tests that have an inscription superior to the eight swimmers will pass to the end the best times of each series, in any case, the positions of each one of the series.
In the case of petanque, the levels will be the same as in swimming, each entity will have a maximum of 12 participants that can distribute as it deems appropriate between the levels of participation.
The games will be played at 11 points, with a tiebreaker and a maximum time of 12 minutes.
All participants must be in the call area, 15 minutes before each meeting.
Last year the event took place in Huercal-Overa (Almería) also in the modalities of swimming and petanque.
About 100 athletes from the Region participated in this event, which, as in this second edition, will represent the clubs and centers of AIDEMAR, PRIMISPORT, APANDIS, ASPRODES and NEW FOUNDATION LOS ALBARES, among others.
