Sánchez Jódar claims the culmination of the Almedricos "va a +" investment plan that the PP was able to announce following the PSOE's ongoing initiatives demanding improvements to the hamlet.
A year later, and despite the political marketing spree of the PP and its ads "hype and plantillo", the reality is that Almendricos "is not going to +" but that is "
The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Marisol Sánchez Jódar has called for "more municipal attention" for the village of Almendricos, whose neighbors have "years" complaining about the discrimination that the Partido Popular maintains towards this Lorca branch.
The mayor has announced that his group will raise, for the fourth year in a row, a motion with which the PSOE claims investments to improve the hamlet, a PP "deaf to neighborhood complaints."
Among the agreements, the PSOE will demand that the "Almendricos vai a +" Investment Plan be completed in an "integral" way, which the Popular Party promised to do in 18 months and that, in the absence of scarce five for the end of the term which they gave themselves (it was announced on September 28, 2016), is "totally paralyzed."
Twelve months after the announcement of the PP of that "supposed" investment plan for Almendricos, "nothing has come true or has any visions to be made."
Of the 6.5 million pledged, the only actions taken in recent months have been the patching of some rural roads or the "partial" improvement of Calle Mayor, where after years of neighborhood complaints, via the hamlet "has barely managed a section, leaving most of the street with the asphalt very deteriorated and without lighting.
The problem of public lighting affects practically the whole of the hamlet.
There are many streets that are "totally in the dark", which day by day becomes a "real problem" because it feeds the neighborhood concern for the insecurity and the danger of falls.
With its motion, the PSOE seeks to solve the main problems that have been raised for years by neighbors and whose status continues to "aggravate" the forgetfulness and neglect of the Popular Party.
Complaints and suggestions that the Socialists gathered again last night, at a meeting held with residents of the hamlet.
They again demand the construction of a nursery school to put an end to the "Third World" conditions in which the children of the parish teach daily.
In educational matters, they also ask that ESO be implanted in the school of the hamlet, to avoid the displacement of the students to the hamlet of Purias.
In addition, they will ask for improvements in rural roads, such as the one that leads to the Cemetery, still "impassable" since the floods of 2012. They will also request improvements to access to the hamlet, under the railroad and the RM-D17 road.
For the improvement of urban spaces in the hamlet, the PSOE will require the PP to solve the problems of electric power suffered by neighbors in the streets and in their own homes, as well as increase the maintenance tasks of sidewalks, parks, squares and gardens, as well as sports facilities or canopies of bus stops, facilities whose state of deterioration is "very advanced".
Likewise, the PSOE will again demand the PP to modify the PGOU to enable the construction on plots of 5,000 m2, with the qualification of what is called SUZE Huerta, with the aim of encouraging the installation of new housing in the hamlet.
The creation of the Museum of Mining in the former ADIF cochinery will also be among the initiatives that the PSOE will defend for the benefit of the residents of the village of Almendricos.
