The Councilor for Economy and Finance in the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez, has reported that the Fiscal Ordinances for 2018, which will apply a new battery of rebates, bonuses and exemptions in different municipal public prices, have been approved by the Plenary of the Consistory, with the favorable vote of the Popular Group (13) and the vote against the opposition groups (12).
Juan Francisco Martínez stressed that these ordinances contribute to the fiscal pressure in Lorca is the lowest in the region, while ensuring the provision and expansion of all public services.

The public price of water will also prevent the rise of the CPI, a fact that adds to other aid with which they are compatible, as is the case of the 50% decrease in the general rate for retirees and pensioners whose pension does not reach the salary minimum interprofessional, as well as for disabled people with a disability greater than 33% and whose family unit has perceptions below the minimum interprofessional salary.
They are also compatible with the 50% bonus on the fixed fee and the application of the consumption block rate immediately below the variable fee to large families.

In this same line, an extension of the regime of exemptions and bonuses in the ICIO (95%) and the rate (100%) for citizens to reconstruct or rehabilitate buildings affected by earthquakes is once again implied.
