The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has announced the holding of a conference by Celia Agüera Jódar, Doctor in Education from the University of Murcia, on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Saints which is entitled "When Halloween banished to the Day of the Saints: death in other cultures.
It will be on Thursday, November 2 at 8 o'clock at the Ruano Garden.
Llamas announced that "in her lecture, Celia Agüera will talk about the evolution of the concept of death throughout history, as well as the different interpretations that different religions and cultures give to death. which we encourage all interested parties to attend. "
Celia Agüera is from Lorca and obtained the title of Doctor of Education defending the thesis entitled "Pedagogy of death", in which she analyzed how the concept of school-age death is constructed.
In addition, Celia Agüera graduated in Primary Education, Master in Aging, Bachelor in Pedagogy by the UMU and Diploma in Social Education.
It also has a broad curriculum of works and collaborations with different entities and associations throughout the Region: Councilors of Social Services, Youth and Employment of the City of Lorca, Caixabanc, APANDIS, Cazalla Intercultural, etc.
