The Councilor for Health of the City of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, and representatives of the Murcia Society of Family and Community Doctors have presented this morning the activities to be carried out in the city during November 10 and 11 with motive of the realization of the XX Regional Congress of SMUMFYC, whose edition of this year has been organized by the family doctors of Area III of Health.

The Murcia Society of Family and Community Doctors is a scientific society that brings together specialists in Family and Community Medicine in the Region of Murcia and founded in 1984 by a large group of family doctors.
Currently, it is the largest Medical Scientific Society of the Region of Murcia and is part of semFYC, Federation of 17 Autonomous Societies of Family Medicine of Spain.
The aims of the SMUMFYC are the promotion, development, promotion and dissemination of the medical specialty of Family and Community Medicine, and Primary Health Care, which constitutes the first level of health care, which is provided outside of the hospitals.
