González Veracruz will ask the Government of the Nation what actions it plans to start up before the problems generated by the justification of the aid to those affected by the Lorca earthquakes.
The National Deputy of the PSOE, Maria Gonzalez Veracruz will take to Congress the concern of those affected by the earthquakes that used their aid for the reconstruction of their homes and which now the Administration asks them to justify their investment.
González Veracruz will ask the Government of the Nation what actions it plans to start up before the problems generated by the justification of the aid to those affected by the Lorca earthquakes.
The Socialists continue to focus their efforts on helping, from the legal point of view, the families that invested all the aid in repairing their homes and now, six years later, need advice and support to be able to justify the subsidies.
This initiative in Congress is in addition to the one presented at the Regional Assembly, with which they insist that "case by case" be studied to offer a solution to those affected and in which they ask for "greater flexibility" in the terms that the Administration has given to justify the aid.
Veracruz says that this problem is "one more consequence" of the "lack of transparency and information" with which the Popular Party has taken the "complex management" of the city's repair after the catastrophe.
Denounces that in addition to the devastating consequences of the earthquakes, the victims have had to endure six years of delays, opacity and lack of transparency in the management for the arrival of aid.
He recalled that with the Popular Party disappeared the figure of the Commissioner for the Earthquake of Lorca, which created the Socialists as an extraordinary measure in the face of a situation, the 2011 earthquake and its consequences, unprecedented for the country, and that Rajoy "fulminated" in 2013 with more than 3,000 people displaced from their homes at that time.
The socialist deputy ensures that this situation that has generated the Popular Party for its lack of transparency and information when it comes to managing the delivery of aid has resulted in a "social alarm" among those affected "who can not find answers to their problems "
For his part, Mateos regrets that the Popular Party is not being sensitive to the concern that hundreds of Lorca are going through in this situation.
The socialist responsible denounces that the City of Lorca is not making available to these people the necessary means, and the proof is that the counseling office is "overwhelmed" daily.
Mateos assures that it is the Administration's obligation "to be as flexible in demanding the documents that justify these subsidies, as Lorca were with the delay in the arrival of the aid".
Therefore, they demand that all the administrative mechanisms at their disposal be put in place to facilitate an effective and detailed "case by case" management of each of the cases to be dealt with.
