In fact the document you have received is NOT A COURT NOTICE, but a DEBT NOTICE
The Delegate Councilor of Municipal Companies in the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez, has stated that the City Council will not proceed to cut water supply to the owner of a contract, as reported by C's, and has clarified that this person has recently received a notification of the debt of € 1,939.64 corresponding to a consumption of 481 m3 between the months of May and July of last year.
From the City Council and Aguas de Lorca we remain at the disposal of the contract holder to continue advancing in the solution of this incidence, apart from partisan uses that do not fix anything.
Martinez Carrasco has indicated that after the reception in Alcaldía of a writing on the matter on the part of said holder, such an incident was sent to Aguas de Lorca so that it could proceed to analyze the situation.
The technicians of the company went to the place to check what had caused the significant increase in water consumption, and ruled out any breakdown in the supply network.
The owner was also informed that he would verify the status of his home network to do the same.
The technicians also proceeded to install a counter parallel to the existing one to find out if there were faults in the calculation of consumption, something that was also ruled out.
In this same line was informed to the owner responsible for the contract of supply of the steps to follow to replace the original counter for another while said mechanism was reviewed by Industry, in order to certify if what has happened is due to a bad operation of the same, without having registered any procedure to that effect on the part of the owner.
The Councilor of Waters of Lorca has indicated that the unique objective of this question is to specify what has happened, not to interrupt the supply of water to anyone.
In the hypothetical case that it is verified that it is a breakdown of the meter, Aguas de Lorca will proceed to correct the incident, as has been done with other similar cases.
