The network of decentralization offices has facilitated this year the management of 51,000 procedures for Lorca residents in districts and the San Cristóbal neighborhood (14/11/2017)

The service of attention to the citizen that pays attention to the citizens residing in multiple districts of our municipal area is about to reach the two decades since its start-up during the year 1998.

The Councilor for Municipal Decentralization in the City of Lorca, Francisco Javier Pelegrin, has reported that the total of actions taken until October 31 has reached the figure of 50,939, maintaining growth over the previous year.

The office with a greater specific weight among all existing ones is that of the Barrio de San Cristóbal, with more than 11,500 procedures that represent 22.73% of the total of transactions carried out by the service, it should be noted that it is also the one that provides service to a greater number of people.

Pelegrín Poveda has explained that currently has 9 fixed offices of daily or alternate attention located in the councils of Almendricos, Ramonete, Zarcilla de Ramos, La Paca, La Hoya, Purias, Cazalla and Pulgara, and also in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal, providing service to some 30,000 people.

There is also a mobile office (the Ayuntamóvil) with weekly attention in different districts of the municipality and which complements the fixed offices, these weekly offices are in La Parroquia, La Campana, Tercia, Campillo, Zarzadilla de Totana, Las Terreras, Avilés, Coy, Dońa Inés, Morata, Campo López, and La Torrecilla-Rafael Méndez Hospital.

In addition, service is provided in other centers by appointment as is the case of residences for the elderly or other hospitals.

The total population served weekly is about 12,000 inhabitants.

Therefore, we can indicate that a total of 28,000 people not resident in the urban area are susceptible to receive administrative attention through any of the established modalities and in their own district.

The average ratio of negotiations / person in the districts with continuous care during the week (including the binomials Pulgara-Cazalla and Zarcilla de Ramos-La Paca) is 2.09 attentions / person, which in the case of the districts furthest from the urban helmet as Ramonete is of a 3.82, the Paca-Zarcilla de Ramos is of 2.71 and in the one of Almendricos of 2.40.

These ratios indicate that it is a well-received service and assumed by the citizens of the councils and more used in direct proportion to the distance to the municipal seat.

Thus fulfilling the philosophy of this service to bring the administration to citizens living in our municipality of vast territory, saving time and travel, as well as facilitating their efforts not only with the Local Administration but acting as transmitters to other administrations such as autonomic or that of Justice, and with municipal companies such as Aguas de Lorca or Limusa.

The offices of Purias also hold an important weight, with 11.88% and La Hoya with 10.64%.

The largest volume of work developed in terms of the areas in which these offices work is related to the Municipal Register of Inhabitants, which accounts for almost 45% of the total work done, followed at a certain distance by the consultations and procedures carried out in relation to with the cadastre and real estate tax and other tax procedures, which rise above 31%.

The less demanded managements (1.8%) are those related to urbanism, since these tend to be more specialized and citizens prefer to go to the aforementioned area of ​​the City Council.

Also managements are made before administrations other than the local one, as it is the case of the Single Window or the Civil Registry that gather 5.28% and 3.42% respectively.

We can consider in view of the efforts made in each of the areas that there are more specialized offices in certain areas, although these may be temporary and always due to the demand of the citizen and not because of the real specialization of the Attention, well, check that the Decentralized Office of the neighborhood performs 44% of the steps taken in these offices in reference to the Municipal Register of Inhabitants.

With reference to Tax Management, the Ayuntamóvil is the one that carries out the greatest number of procedures with almost 18%, although it is closely followed by the Purias and La Hoya Offices with 16 and 15% respectively.

In terms of cadastre are La Paca, Almendricos and Ramonete those that perform a greater number of attentions, all being between the 15.41 of Ramonete and the 16.13% of the Paca.

The maximum specialization in town planning is given in the office of La Pulgara, with more than 28% of the total management, although it is necessary to point out that this is the area in which there is less demand for paperwork, occupying the total of management only 1.77%.

Proceedings made before the municipal company of Aguas de Lorca, are requested mostly in the Office of Pulgara, which meets 20.47% of the total.

With respect to the Single Window, dependent on the CARM, the office that carries out the greatest number of procedures is the Ayuntamóvil, which accounts for 26.38% of the total number of steps taken before this administration.

Another administration before which steps are taken is that of Justice through the Civil Registry, before which numerous requests for death or birth certificates are processed, with offices with a greater volume in this relation those of Pulgara (20.03% ), Ayuntamóvil (12.97%) and Cazalla (11.88%).
