Las Alamedas, in addition, welcome the passage of numerous families who accompany schoolchildren to the area of San Fernando, San José and José Robles schools, as well as hundreds of Lorca fans who practice sports throughout its length.
Sandra Martinez has detailed that the improvements in the chapter of gardening include the withdrawal and replacement of a total length of 400 linear meters of curbs, given that the current ones present deteriorations that require their renewal.
This chapter includes the necessary work to demolish existing curbs as a separation of the pedestrian area and the flowerbeds.
The renovation of the rainwater evacuation network is also foreseen, including the replacement of 8 scuppers
The planned intervention will involve the enhancement of existing gardening and trees, paying special attention to the replacement of withered or stopped specimens with new ones specially selected to ensure their climatic adaptation to the natural conditions of Lorca and taking into account their aesthetic appeal in the enclave in the one that they place.
