During these 10 years, Cazalla Intercultural has worked hard to connect Lorca with Europe, to offer young Lorca non-formal learning opportunities in different places both in Europe and the world.

Many young people from Lorca have lived their first experience abroad thanks to the Youth Exchanges of Cazalla.

Other young people have found in the European Voluntary Service a difficult life experience that has opened their minds and helped them to develop their skills.

Cazalla Intercultural has also received volunteers from different countries (especially from Italy and Poland, but also from Greece, France, Vietnam, Thailand, Uruguay, and countless places) that have left their indelible mark on our neighborhoods and our hearts.

We have worked and are working to fight against sexist violence, racism (especially invisible racism, in whose conceptualization Cazalla Intercultural has been a pioneer in Spain) and also to educate for global citizenship in respect of Human Rights, caring for Environment, critical thinking and recognition of skills acquired outside the official educational curriculum.

This event will consist of a welcome cocktail at 17 in the M13 Youth Resource Center, then proceed to inaugurate the act with a speech and small talks in the format "TEDtalks", we will see the commemorative video and cut the anniversary cake.

At 20:00 we will close the ceremony with the presentation of the team of local volunteers and the award of the prize to the volunteer of the year.

At 22:00 we will move to the Phelans Pub, on the Corredera Street, to share some very special Bohemian Nights, as we will recall together the experiences of the artists who, in one way or another, are already part of Intercultural Cazalla.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported Cazalla Intercultural, especially the City Council of Lorca, the Informajoven and the Youth Council, with whom we maintain a long-term cooperation relationship.

And also to the local, European and international organizations that make Cazalla Intercultural a true door to the world and an innovative center in non-formal education.
